Director - Julia Hippisley-Cox
Julia Hippisley-Cox is professor of clinical epidemiology and general practice at the University of Nottingham. Her research interests are very broad but include intended and unintended effcts of new and commonly used medications and assessment of risk-benefit ratios for individual patients. She also works as a sessional GP in a local general practice. She is co-director and co-founder of QRESEARCH and has the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing whole project, particularly access and use of the database for research and health service analysis
- Guarantor and custodian of QRESEARCH
- Acting as a Trusted Third Party in holding the QRESEARCH database
- Academic and technical specifications, analysis, reporting and publication of data
- Line management, supervision and training of staff
- Practice recruitment
